I’m Kateryna (also known as Joyce), a multidisciplinary Visual Designer with over six years of experience. Currently focused on the EdTech sector, my core expertise spans graphic design, custom illustration, and motion graphics. My goal is to protect the art of visual storytelling by keeping the creative process raw, engaging, and impossible to simply scroll past.

My background as a Senior GIS Specialist gave me a strong foundation in systemic logic, but my visual approach thrives on a true hybrid workflow. I build the foundational elements by hand — sketching, designing, and animating my own base and then seamlessly blend in AI tools to scale, texturize, or push the concepts further. This ensures every piece retains a distinct human touch while leveraging the best of modern tech.

Outside of the digital space, I run an upcycling initiative rooted in anti-consumerism and DIY culture. Dedicated to revitalizing second-hand clothing with pixelated hand-drawn art, this project is a space where I practice physical craft. It’s an unapologetic extension of my aesthetic — exploring tactile art, bypassing fast fashion, and donating 30% of all revenue to animal welfare funds.
